Analysis Executive

Job Overview

Exciting opportunity for a research professional to join the strategy and insight team at the British Medical Association (BMA) on a fixed term (10-month maternity cover) contract. Reporting into the Market Insight and Product Analysis Manager, the role holder will be involved in conducting and delivering research and sharing insight to help the BMA in improving the products and services it provides to members and in supporting our mission of `we look after doctors so they can look after you’.

We are looking for a talented researcher with a broad range of skills and experience (in addition to having quantitative and qualitative research experience). 
 

In your new role you will: 

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research and analysis to support specific projects for the association. 

  • Produce reports in relation to research, membership retention and recruitment, and on product and services evaluation. 

  • Share data and insight with colleagues and other stakeholders across the organisation to influence action. 

  • Provide support and advice to own directorate, including product managers, and the wider organisation on conducting research (e.g. be able to help with creating a research brief and advising on what research methodologies to use).
     

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Proven research expertise and experience across all types of research 

  • Strong analytical and data skills 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially communication, collaboration, stakeholder management and influencing 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including thinking creatively to resolve issues 

  • Project management experience 

  • Educated to degree level and with a relevant qualification / qualified by relevant experience
