Administration Team Leader
Job Overview
The BMA is an independent trade union and professional association, providing advice and representation to doctors and medical students.
This is fixed term contract position of 40 hours per week for 9 months based at home.
In this role, the post holder will be:
- Responsible for the supervision and co-ordination of an administration team
- Able to act as a first point of contact to members and other stakeholders contacting the administration team
- Responsible for the coordination of administrative support to advisory staff and committees
To succeed, the successful candidate will need:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skills being able to manage and prioritise their own workload whilst supporting others
- Strong IT skills
- To lead and work as part of a team
