Job Overview
The BMA is an independent trade union and professional association for doctors. We provide advice and representation to doctors who are BMA members.
We are looking for a full-time Administrator to provide administrative support to our BMA Scotland Office and our team of Member Service advisers based in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is predominantly an office-based position, however the appointed candidate may work from home on occasion.
This is a fixed term contract role for 12 months.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
- Experience in an administrative role
- Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to prioritise and manage own workload
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal are required
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- The ability to handle complex and confidential information
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience of working with the full MS Office suite is required
