Assistant Special Advisor

Job Overview

This is a key role at the heart of the Association supporting and assisting the senior special advisor in their role supporting the chair and wider chief officer team. Part of the wider council secretariat team, the post holder will enjoy a range of duties including providing advice and support to the chair of council as the political head of the BMA and the Association's chief officers.

Additionally the successful candidate will: 

  • Proactively manage communications and liaison with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Work with the PA to the chief officers to manage and prioritise information to and from the chair of council and other chief officers where required.
  • Produce correspondence and communications materials and ensure the chief officer team is effectively supported through liaising with staff across the BMA on their behalf.
