About the role
We're looking for a Field Events Co-ordinator to join our team. This post is a permanent role.
As a Field Events Co-ordinator you will work closely with the Local Recruitment & Retention team organising the delivery of a UK wide programme of events and activities that recruit and retain BMA members. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the logistics, collateral, and scheduling of face-to-face events, local campaigns and activities. You will also support the Membership Development Managers with administrative duties and attend events when required.
This is a hybrid role and will involve a mix of working from home and from BMA House.
Working outside normal office hours is required on occasion. (Please note that due to a key event annual leave is unable to be taken for the last 2 weeks of July, 1st week of August unless agreed with manager).
To be successful in this role you'll ideally have:
- Previous experience of event logistics and operations (essential)
- Good organisation and confidence in managing a wide range of activities, resources, and situations at any one time
- Good marketer with proven marketing experience preferably with experience of marketing, writing copy and general customer acquisition
- Excellent understanding of different communications channels and how to tailor messages for different audiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An understanding of the career structure and progression of doctors is not essential however would be advantageous
- Strong networking skills with ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and medical professionals and members at all levels
