About the role

We’re looking for an HR Assistant to join our HR Operations team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The successful applicant will be responsible for a range of HR administration tasks associated with the employee life cycle and HR projects. The successful candidate will collaborate across the HR team on a variety of tasks including managing queries through our HR ticketing system, new starter onboarding, providing payroll support and generating monthly HR reports. They will also provide support to the Head of HR Operations and wider HR team with projects and other administration tasks when required.

Currently this is a hybrid role with a mix of working from BMA House in Central London and from home.

 

To be successful as an HR Assistant you’ll have:

 

  • Previous experience as an HR Assistant in a similar sized organisation
  • Familiar with current employment policies and legislation
  • Experience of HR Systems, especially Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to develop positive working relationships with a wide variety of customers (internal & external)
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrable customer service skills
  • Strong eye for detail and accuracy.
