HR Business Partner
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HR business partner to join the BMA HR directorate. Based in our central London office, you will work alongside senior managers and directors working on people solutions and plans to deliver their short, medium, and long-term objectives.
As a member of the HR Business Partnering team, you will work closely with the HR operations, Learning and development, and HR systems and data Teams’, to deliver HR initiatives on a local level and provide the ‘voice of the customer’ back into the HR directorate as we shape and enhance our HR provision.
Do you have significant experience working as an HR business partner in a trade union, professional membership body organisation, NHS, or similar dynamic organisation?
Do you have experience of working in a blended HR business partnering model, regularly handling and managing a broad range of strategic, transactional and operational HR issues?
Do you have significant experience of providing generalist HR advice to managers on a range of complicated, sensitive and high-risk employee relations matters, including change management, and performance management issues?
You will be an ambassador for the HR directorate in your dedicated business areas including the BMA Nations in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
You will create effective HR solutions to respective directorate challenges, coaching managers, and leaders, and use and understand BMA policies and procedures, engaging with customer areas effectively to ensure their use across the organisation.
You will be a personable and empathetic HR professional with a passion for people and have consummate communication skills. You will produce multi-faceted workforce data reports for senior management, so professionalism, discretion and first-class report writing skills are essential.
