Library and Evidence Support assistant

Job Overview

We are looking for a technical officer to join the BMA’s library and evidence support team.  Working closely with the systems specialist and with colleagues across the department, you will support the provision of a full range of systems and resources in the library and the delivery of high-quality user-facing services for members and researchers.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Experience of working in a library and delivering support to staff and customers.
  • Excellent organisation and multi-tasking abilities.
  • The ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills.

The British Medical Association (BMA) is the professional association and trade union for doctors and medical students in the UK. It has a prominent and influential position at the very heart of current debate over the future of healthcare provision.
