About the Role
We’re looking for a Microsoft DevOps Support Consultant to join our Technology Services team.
Reporting to the Technical Architect this role will support the business in developing, integrating and maintaining .net applications that sit within the BMA domain. The successful applicant will support Microsoft applications through plugins, work flows and integrated applications. They will also be involved in design, testing and maintenance and will provide on-going support for applications and will recommend new DevOps support tools where possible.
This is a hybrid role and will involve a mix of working at home and BMA House in Central London.
To be successful as a Microsoft DevOps Support Consultant you’ll have:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience using C# as an application development platform. (essential)
- Experience programming in .NET x, C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, XML, jQuery or similar, HTML 5, CSS and responsive design. (essential)
- Strong capabilities in ASP.NET Core application development, particularly in conjunction with React. (Essential)
- Experience of use case diagrams. Web services: Web API, RESTful APIs and WCF services. Strong programming skills in Entity Framework 6+, MS SQL 2014+ and ADO.NET (essential)
- Familiarity with the Azure technology stack, showcasing practical application of Azure services.
- Proven track record in cloud application development, emphasizing Azure App Service, Logic Apps, Functions, Data Factory, Storage, and Service Bus.
- Experience of Dynamics 365, MS Office 365 and Sharepoint APIs.
- Solid understanding and practical usage of GIT for version control.
- Strong SQL query experience.
- Creating and managing azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline for web and database projects.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical details of solutions in formats and descriptions which cater for audiences.
- Ability to create innovative to different solutions.
