Retention marketing manager

Job Overview

Are you an experienced and results orientated marketing professional looking for a new opportunity? Up for the challenge of balancing a marketing role in a fast-paced political environment with multiple priorities? 

We are looking for a pro-active individual, confident working and liaising with stakeholders at all levels across the association, to manage our retention and renewals marketing operation on a 12-month maternity contract.

Managing a team of four (one of these is a part-time contractor), the role of the retention marketing manager is to oversee, integrate and support in the creation, development and execution of marketing campaigns, to contribute to improved member retention levels. Working closely with other communication colleagues as well as teams in membership, product, insight and those working with members out in the field, the team works to establish seamless journeys across all member interactions. The role is busy and varied, requiring the candidate to manage multiple projects, campaigns and stakeholders at once.

To succeed in this role, proven skills of managing end-to-end campaigns, together with data analysis and reporting, and budget management is essential. The retention marketing manager also has responsibility for managing the email channel (through Dotdigital), including scheduling and data management. Experience of working closely with a membership team on specific behavioural campaigns, as well as membership renewals would be an advantage.

For the successful candidate a key part of the time in the role will be focused on helping to develop marketing requirements for a new CRM. Previous experience in CRM development and/or integration would be desirable.
