Senior strategic communications officer

Job Overview

Are you adept at managing effective communications work at a strategic level? Do you feel confident in co-ordinating the scheduling of activities for specific projects or tasks and evaluate their success and impact? Can you produce communications content to support project work or other strategic communications activity? Then this may be the role for you.

 

We are looking for an experienced communications planner to join the BMA's small and busy strategic communications team and manage a range of high priority projects and campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and coordinated approach. The role involves scoping, planning and managing a range of integrated communications campaigns, bringing together colleagues from across the business.

 

You'll need sound and successful communications experience and a keen awareness of different communication channels and approaches, ensuring we focus on the right activities in the right way to meet our objectives. Good planning skills and the ability to keep multiple projects on track are key, while an ability to keep abreast of the key political and health policy developments would also be useful.

This is a maternity cover role for up to 12 months.
